Look at how Dan Quayle's "potatoe" deal went compared to B.O.'s 57 states. If they spent just a little time making fun of B.O, he'd be considered as stupid as Quayle.

It meant a lot when Theodore Roosevelt was president - of course, that was a few years back.
Of course, Bush Jr. and Sr. were Ivy Leaguers.............the elder was an outstanding student. Didn't hold any water with the libs though.....until they got their own Ivy Leaguer in there. Suddenly it's important. I'll take the West Pointer (Ike) or the Eureka College grad (Reagan) any day. |

). And Obloomers is a cigarrette smoker (and probably smoked from the whacky pipe too in his younger days (I hope his younger days! ). John McCain never smoked, but used to dip snuff regularly. I think he still does but he's old enough to hide it in his jowels. Many of the earlier presidents were heavy cigar and pipe smokers. Ulysses S. Grant rarely was without a cigar (they say he smoked 20 a day - he died of oral cancer). William McKinley was a heavy cigar smoker. Grant, Benjamin Harrison, McKinley, Taft Harding and Coolidge were the heavy cigar smokers. Theodore Roosevelt had asthma as a youngster and stayed away from tobacco. He became very athletic as he aged and overcame his sickly childhood with bold determination and dedication to hard work. Many of the 19th Century presidents also chewed tobacco. |

The old Heinz corporation that began in 1869 in Pittsburgh, under the oldest Henry John Heinz is an example of American Capitalism at it's best and was very global for the 19th Century. Senator H. John Heinz wasn't a bad guy for a rich kid - Republican....a bit moderate. He perished in a Helo crash in 1991. Teresa married down her second time around. ![]() |

That is, when i've over cooked a sirloin steak and need to drown the burnt flavor if it's done more than medium-rare. Heinz, though....she pisses me off. So her family's company can bite me. Same with the Krocs (Mickey D's) back in the day. Same with Costco now. Elections might happen yearly or every other year...or every four years. But i vote each and every day with my wallet.

Cheap and/or burned steak makes an exception. Any regular steak though then absolutely not.
