Bye bye Cindy. Another one bites the dust. She's always annoyed me... especially when she snuggled up with that asswipe Chavez.

I've been wondering why I'm killing myself and wondering why the Democrats caved in to George Bush," Sheehan told The Associated Press while driving from her property in Crawford to the airport, where she planned to return to her native California.

"I'm going home for awhile to try and be normal," she said.

She ran out of dough.....Being a whore for one's cause does not overcome being a whore for one's stuff. Enjoy the widescreen Cindy.

The reason she ran out of dough is because the Dems stopped supporting her views when she had the nerve to criticize them.

I kind of like Sheehan. At least she believed in something. Albiet she most likely had mental problems and I cannot agree with her on anything. But she believed and united people behind the non-violent protests.

But hippies are the bane of existence.

I have deep empathy for her. She was deeply saddened by the death of her son who died fighting a war, put extremely simply, she didn't believe in.

I can't imagine the loss she felt and if people would remember that she lost a son I think they would have a very hard time hating her. I can understand not agreeing with what she said or did but the venom that this woman drew from complete stangers over her views is absurd and downright scary. I guess this is an example of how devided we are as a country; people actually hating one another over opinions. Pretty sad.

That is nothing new....why so surprised?

Isn't that what fuels wars?

Doesn't make it any less sad. Particularly with how "morally strong" many claim to be in this day and age...

I don't think any thinks it's simple. In fact, I think war and fighting is a result of peoples' oversimplification of the world.

One rule would certainly simplify the world.

You mean one ruler?

To me, that's part of that oversimplification you described earlier...if that is what you mean...

Now, if you mean one rule, I might agree, as long as that rule is akin to "keep your hands to yourself."

One rule, one ruler....it's all the same to me.

One rule as one civilization/culture wishing to have full control of the planet.

Of course, it would have to be we that ruled, because we wouldn't submit to others ruling us.

Of course, the others should and would surely submit to our way. No problem.

I'm beginning to feel the merry-go-round that brought us to war in the first place.

I can see two "sides" that were saying that...I don't know about you, though.

As it pertains to Iraq, what kind of government is being set up there? Why was Saddam overthrown?

You could actually give out a lot of reasons (valid ones, too) for the second part...including "the Iraqi people deserve to be 'free'".

I see two for sure.....maybe three.

It'll always be us against them. It's simply us living history "live".

"Us" and "them" are just different players throughout the time span of mankind.

True, but in some cases, the reasons we don't like "them" are nearly the same as the reasons "they" don't like us.
