I saw the U2 take off in 93 from a base in Great Britian. Wonderfully brilliant.

The SR-71 was more stealthy than its size and the heat of its engines would be expected. Sure, it wasn't stealth along the lines of the B2, but for its time, very impressive.

The amazing thing is how they calculated all the aspects of this plane without the use of a processor that powers a common home PC.
