What sucks about these war videos is that they are linked to a bunch of other videos that dumbass soldiers have taken. Videos of killing animals, abusing Iraqis, making the children say vulgar and pornographic things etc. I just watched one where a convoy had this kid running about a half a mile for a bottle of water. They keep taunting him, keep running just a little more, the truck is going about 15 miles an hour and after about 10 blocks only one child is left and he keeps running.

It is a really sad part of war and it goes on regardless of what country or who were fighting. I don't know what punishment these guys deserve(we don't know what their minds face) but it is a disgrace.

I wouldn't believe horror stories if it were not for the Marine recruiter who lied to my wife and tried to force her into signing over her child support through a legal document called, you guessed it, Waiver of Child Support. He even called the State on her and after talking with the worker they admitted he had no right or power to even get them involved investigating her. Before we were married she was on State medical card because the child's dad (still to this day) refuses to pay her health insurance. The recruiter called up the State and told them that she flat out refused insurance for her child and that she should be suspended from the State card. I had to get my attorney to tell the military to only contact him and not us. They would even call and harass her at work. It is bullshit. I respect the soldiers but really I don't like the policies. This was all to try and recruit some lowlife who doesn't pay for his child and only gives child support because its garnished. So they want to fuck with regular hard working people to recruit some piece of shit. See how they operate?

Recruiters are ruthless as I had a few run ins with them as a Drill Sergeant.

As far as what our soldiers are going through mentally over there:

Children are as much a threat to them as are any insurgent, adult male or adult female. My son was put into a situation where he had a 6 year old approuch him and pointed a weapon at him. He squared his body armor to the threat thinking he was going to take two to the chest brought his weapon up and clicked off safe. Fortunately, the child ran away without any injury other then near soiled pants. The child was found and it was discovered it was a toy gun. Had my son shot, it would have been justified as he was threatened. The reprecusions of having to live the rest of his life with that memory is haunting.

He now is the driver for his Stryker Vehicle and is under constant stress of running the children over. They come out of no where seaking whatever they can get from the Americans. He has admitted to verbally "Mother-Fucking" many of them and feeling bad about it later but a tongue lashing is better then getting run over and killed.

His latest "Oh fuck I am going to die" came when someone desided to clamor up the front of is vehicle to say "Hi." He thought he was going to take a bullet in the face or the guy was going to blow up. Fortunately, he wanted to say hi yet he got "MFed" with the rest of them.

Recruiters are recruiters. They are paid to put folks in the service. Just like a Lawyer defending a rapist or murderer, they are doing thier job.
