The Ben Stein film about how Intelligent Design is being completely refuted in the science community.

Good stuff.

He does a really poor job of covering Richard Dawkins. Never really gave him the chance to speak and tried to make him into an idiot.

By all accounts it is a really bad movie which relies on half truths and editing to make it's points. To paraphrase LSU, you can't cover or debunk evolution in a movie.

I doubt there was anything that could be done to stop Dawkins from coming across as an idiot.

It's not so much about the argument over evolution as it is about people being totally shut out of the scientific community because they hold a different opinion than most. He makes the distinction between those who believe in ID and Creationists.

Gotcha.

I wonder if there are actual experiements that are possible I've seen some ID stuff that on it's face is interesting but is pretty easily debunked. I've never seen actual experiments though...

I hope its not for Mickey Rourke... I got Letterman tickets when I was in NYC, but too bad it was that boring dude as the guest.

Just because he prays to a different god than you? The god of science and logic...

I think this is a pretty strong statement coming from someone who believes in something purely based on Faith that it exists. How do you know he's ignorant and you are not?

Well you equated using Science and Logic to "human ignorance", I guess I just inferred you meant the person "praying" to the god of human ignorance would also be ignorant.

Ben Stein endorsed Al Franken IIRC.

My favorite part was when he exploited the Holocaust for some bizarre reason.

After Kimmel left, that show was done.

Very few people gave half a sh*t about Ben Stein's show....which says a lot about what they'll think about his movie...or his money...LMAO

Tough to beat a guy who could be clued on what to study (or simply given answers). Also, in the credits of that show it pointed out that it wasn't actually his money.
