Only Christians not versed on the true history of Christianity would find this "news" shocking. Circulations of a messiah were always part of Jewish tradition which was originally rooted in Coptic Egyptian theories. Elijah was a messiah candidate before jesus as well as John the Baptist. The jews are still waiting for their messiah. This news does not discount the true Christianity

Judism is the root of Christianity. We are, Judeo-Christians. Jesus and his Apostles were Jewish. Paul (Saul) was born and rased a Jew - and became the patron saint to the Gentiles. Our Old Testament is based on Judaism.

To me, artifacts such as the listed only enhance my belief in Christianity and the New Covenant.
