Congress Considers $15,000 Rebate Checks For All Home Buyers

Senate Republican leaders have signed on to the rebate check idea. But they have to corral support from Democrats.

Commie- live in govt. supplied hut and resentfully do work government assigns.
Me- take 15 grand, buy house, rent it out and collect proceeds, depreciate remainder of balance to pay less tax which would be redistributed to person living in my rental, while I also perform capitalistic work duties which I have grown tired of.

No...Apparantly you don't know the difference between a home and a house....and missed the part about owner-occupant.

You will get nothing.

And those of us who paid for a home prior will be wondering why we don't get a 15 grand rebate for ours and/or a 15 grand reduction of mortgage....but that's besides the point as it argues under the premise that this idea is worth two sh*ts...
