The legislation would deliver rebates -- $600 for individuals, $1,200 for couples -- to most taxpayers, plus an additional $300 per child. Individuals making up to $75,000 a year and couples earning up to $150,000 would get the full rebate, with those making more than that or too little to owe taxes getting smaller checks.

People who paid no income taxes but earned at least $3,000 -- including through Social Security or veterans' disability benefits -- would get a $300 rebate.

I'm still waiting on my normal tax return. I should have it any day now as I mailed it in a month ago.

You can check the status on www.irs.gov if you have your ss#, filing status and the refund amount.

Just click the "Where's my refund" link....

Donuts and rolls of paper towel are basically there to f*ck with me at this point.

How I went 24 years...I don't know. To think, I found myself a calmer individual then...

If they are going to have this rebate check thing, why send it out in May? Vacations? Around the first of December would be better . I imagine alot of people would prefer to spend the rebate money on Christmas/Hanakkuh/Kwanzaa instead of Bill money.
