It seems I had overpaid on my mortgage by $92.

It is now paid off.

I considered SIU for my masters, and had a buddy from Iowa State do his PhD there...worked with hybrid striped bass.

As far as carp vs catfish, when there's already a perfect model of a vegetation-eating-machine (grass carp), you don't attempt to improve on it.

I watch the show every week, but rarely for anything Maher says. I think he's a windbag, too. I like most of his guests, though. Most of the time he'll have one conservative on, but even then they're outnumbered by Maher and the other two guests. Last night, he had on Adkins and a guy from WSJ (Fund), along with DJ Hughley, so it was a little more balanced. I have seen shows where there isn't anyone close to conservative on the panel, and they're usually some of the least informative shows.

Had Tony Snow on last week, too. Regardless of his politics, he does have friends from both sides of the aisle that show up...usually they just get drown out, though.

I haven't watched Maher in forever...At first my wife watched him, so I followed suit, until we learned he was a broken record...But I would like to sit in with a crowd of conservatives and watch him for the teeth-gnashing effect...much like I would with Liberals and Glenn Beck...
