View Full Version : I was handing out fliers similar to this one...
a bit over 4 years a ago. Vegas, not everybody believed in this war. Many didn't. I was called a traitor and terrorist appeaser and many other names handing these out. I would love to talk to those people now. Smug? Maybe. Right? Yes I was.

A babylonian will resort to violence should he be exposed to his own....inadequacies. Think before ye speak.

The Babylonian thing again jiddy? I don't understand.
However, to be called those names does make me a bit spiteful these days, and I know it comes across sometimes. To have people still calling those things out when they were wrong as wrong can be? That makes me downright bitter. I marched in DC and here in NC. I protested on corners. I called for dialogue, and this is where we are today. In a quagmire. Hundreds of thousands of civilians have been killed. The war has cost us a boatload of money. Iraq is in worse shape today than it was prewar. The puppetmasters keep going on and on with this charade and is has to stop.
I will not result to violence. I will call out blatant lies and manipulation when I see them. I still see them.

When the war first broke out, one of the suburbs closer to the city had an anti war rally...It was a peaceful demonstration, people held candles and signs along the main road through the city...I went to it with a friend...People passing by in cars yelled nasty shit at the protesters, and one got a cup of soda thrown at them!

One car yelling nasty stuff had a cup of water thrown at them or a protester did?
Either way, it's not right. Everyone has their right to free speech.

The protester had a soda throw at them from a passing car!
My god daughter and her boyfriend at the time threw a water balloon at a car that had a huge Bush/cheney sign in the window during the elections...I wont go into detail, but it caused a high speed chase and the subsequent losing of the pissed off Bush supporter!

She shouldn't have done that.
Some of the quotes on there are interesting. The numbers are going to end up about right if Bush keeps us over there, taking into account world spending. How about the warmongers predictions? How did they turn out? Greeted as liberators? I doubt 6 months? War would be paid for with Iraqi oil?

That is one of the better ones I forgot about.
Bump. This is for those that are wondering what I was doing late 2002 early 2003. How is this looking now? Who ended up correct? The anti-war protesters or the ones telling me I was anti-American and loved terrorists? Some people knew.

The America you envision scares me. I'm glad we've won the war, so as to prove that idiots like yourself who are too engrossed in images of bong-induced orgies and not having to work to collect income were absolutely f'ed in the head.
Be careful when you remove your head from your ass, we wouldn't want you to leave the scrunchy behind.

Take a logic class bro. The way you argue is akin to talking to a broken record filled with meaningless cliches.

Screw you man. I work every day to make our country a better place.
Nice calling me a female as an insult too. You are a class act, your wife probably loves you. Oh wait, she is probably too busy cowering in the corner because dinner was cold. However much you paid for that degree.... it was too much.
Peace man. Lets go hit the bong.
By the way, when did we win. Was that when 9 soldiers were killed yesterday?
Oh, and thank you for your service to our country. What is your job?
Ed Who?

You were knocked off of your 6-inch tall "high horse." You start blathering that you were proven right...about nothing. You can't accept the fact that things are changing for the good in Iraq. Yeah, 9 killed yesterday, they were trained for combat. What about the 3000 that were killed in 2001? I know, no link to Iraq. Except for the fact that they all seem to worship the same god, have the same will to kill Jews, and all seem to want to kill those who defy them without question. And it just so happens that the same Al-Qaeda group responsible for the 3000 killed finds itself buried in a quagmire in Iraq fighting. Why? I thought Iraq was independent, why do they seem to care now?
We are such oppressors. They kill each other more than we kill them.

You are just factually wrong Ed. Sorry, it is not that I hate America or I wish as many troops were dying as before, as much as you wish that were the case. The fact that zero Iraqis attacked us on 911 and Saddam had nothing to do with it does matter man. The fact that they are all Muslim has no bearing. And your claim that AQI is the same group that attacked us on 911 is factually wrong. Additionally, nobody is defying them. That is an ignorant way to put it. Iraqis had so much power then teh Americans decided to defy them? LMFAO dude.
Now who was proven right? The ones that said there were WMDs or the ones that said Iraq was no threat? Those who said it would be extremely costly, or those that said Iraqi oil money would pay for it? Those who said we could face an extreme insurgency or those that said we would be greeted as liberators? Those who said there would be a large loss of life or those that said it would be easy? Ed my man, you are factually wrong. Have a nice day.
Also Ed, how was I knocked off my pedestal?
Ed Who?

I think you just proved my point.

What is your point Ed, and how did I prove it?
