That's the reasoning I just heard on Today for the firings.
Makes me really want to go into private industry when I look for gainful employment.
I've been thinking about cancelling my citi card...but now I'm worried someone might lose their job because of it...

So, what you're saying is that a corporation is for the stockholders, not the wee little people, so really, a corporation is only worried about the economy so far as it benefits the people rich enough to own the stocks? The average wage worker is, well, to put it bluntly...fucked??
