I was talking to her on ICQ and she says the Russian govt is now supporting USA because of oil exports. She does not like her govt and constantly tells me that Russia is more corrupt that US. She thinks the increasing oil prices from a conflict with Iran is a driving force in Russias policy. I always figured it was because Russia was selling weapons to Iran but I guess it goes deeper than that. Either way its something to think about.

I got several other friends in Russia and I will ask them about it.

She just got divorced from some dickhead in Moscow. She has moved to St Petersburg and living with her parents. I doubt she is in any capacity to think about another relationship at this point. We are friends and I like it that way. Plus Chrissy will denut me if she thought I was getting a Russian bride.

WTF I never said I did not think Russia was corrupt. I think that it is an interesting proposition that they are causing turmoil in Iran to inflate crude oil prices. That is all.

I don't think our govt was starting something on purpose, but when they see a chance - they will never loose it; and war in Iran is sure very profitable for them. But that doesn't make us better, of course. :)
