Forrest Gump or Shenandoah?
I'm positive that either one of them can make me cry like a baby.

Never seen the latter...but the former not only gets me when I see it...but just the music alone is enough.

Shenandoah is imo Jimmy Stewart's best movie.
Look at this cast:

Music on the latter is nothing to sniff at, if I remember.
Neither.

Well it worked out pretty good for me. Shenandoah ended 15 minutes before Forrest, so I got to fight off 2 crying jags.

No matter how many times I see the movie "Field of Dreams"....when Burt Lancaster ,who plays Moonlight Graham, has to go back into the corn after saving the daughter from choking, I start bawling like a baby!

I haven't seen Shenandoah since I was a kid. Now you got me wanting to see it. I bet I remember very little.
But I do seem to have an image of somebody arriving back to the homestead half-dead on the back of a horse......and another of somebody being ambushed as they neared a creek.
