A lot of times I post something and walk away from the cpu, only to return later to proof it (yes, I proof my posts) and I can't because of this rule.

Do I need a second/petition to get this to the floor committee?

It's in place so someone can't edit if they get busted with a dumbass point.

I usually quote posts to avoid that, but everyone doesn't. I proofread my posts when I type them.
