When my son, along with all of my friends deployed over seas to Iraq or Iran they took the vehicles and equipment that was organic to that unit. Said equipment had been in a garrison environment and well maintained, fixing things that had gone wrong in the previous deployment.

My sons deployment to Afghanistan will be different. They will "Hot Seat" all vehicles and all equipment from the unit they are relieving. They will be required to perform the same mission but with worn out "Field Maintained" equipment instead of the vehicles and equipment they have been fixing since returning from Iraq.

These are the suttle political moves that are made that involve the military that go unnoticed.

Those over seas never do as "Absentee Ballots" are only counted in a close election. It gets close anyone not Republican will try to have them thrown out.

IL didn't get the overseas military ballots mailed out on time.
