So, what's your opinion on other secret societies like those that are often found at famous colleges and universities and have very famous members?

"Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people."
Theodore Roosevelt

Sounds like Teddy was a conspiracy nut.

So, now that the name-calling is out of the way, are there any real points that would like to be made?

We won't be able to discuss any secret society worth it's salt, because if we knew about then it wouldn't really be secret.

I just mean what everyone thinks about how these societies being the breeding grounds for our country's leaders in both the public and private sector. Does anyone think these societies are puppeteers and we're the puppets?

I always considered fraternities to be a way for people who couldn't make friends to buy some friends. So I guess maybe that's the way I feel about secret societies. You need the security blanket of knowing someone's got your back.

I think some of the things you see on some of the TV programs have some feasibility to their content, but there's really no way to prove them beyond a shadow of a doubt.

The Bilderbergers for example are presented as a group of the world's wealthiest and most influential people from governments and businesses alike. It's suggested that they are the ones who ultimately decide who eats and who starves both from a literal nourishment standpoint and from an industrial standpoint based on whatever standards and criteria they set.

Considering the power they hold and the positions they occupy it's hard to dispute their abilities, not necessarily their philosophies.

However, considering they are recognized as a secret society we have no way of proving this agenda many say they have. For all we know they could be playing shuffleboard and parchiezy (sp?) at these mega luxurious resorts and hotels they visit each time they convene. Of course considering the amount of security they always have at these sites it leads me to believe that there's a bit more than that going on.
