View Full Version : I am back bitches
Hope you all have been well. I have returned to the country (yes, homeland security let me back in even though I am a liberal), and look forward to bringing the socialism back with me. Spain was good, my gf and I had a great time.

Ah, Spain, one of the last official bastions of fascism...until it returned to the US on 1-20-01.

Welcome back. I love Spain. My wife has a lot of family there and we enjoy visiting.

My taxes funded your trip, didn't they?

Yeah right, I felt like I was coming from the 3rd world with the value of the dollar.

I know. It pains me to think about it....I'll never forget how an iced tea cost me $8.50 US in France, and I didn't realize refills weren't free...so we ended up spending $68 for the four of us on iced tea.
Worst restaurant experience ever.

The high prices in Europe are not completely a function of currency valuation. A lot of it has to do with the VAT and the socialist governments over there.

Actually, the iced tea thing was exceptionally unique for our trip...It was in Paris in one of those fancy schmancy dumps on the "strip" that has a menu on the sidewalk and you eat outside.
It was the place in Europe which most reminded me of the U.S., actually. F*cking frenchies wanna be just like us. Whores.

They have high poverty and crime rates? How about abortion? You detest that. What are abortion rates like in Europe? Health Care? Where are the studies that say it is better here? Homelessness?

Oh because we'd never see the value of assets double or so over the period of 2 or 3 years here in the states as a direct result of the actions of our government and federal reserve bank...

How is that, or is it just something else you pulled out of your ass?
